Vintage stainless steel Rolex pocket watch, ref #2728. Circa 1920`s. Black dial with applied Arabic hour markers with sub seconds at the 6 o’clock. Swiss made, mechanical manual wind movement. The outer case of the pocketwatch is wrapped in leather with a lizard/snake print. The head rotates and is reversible. The case back is stamped Rolex Brevete Depose SAR. Can be secured to a fob. Approximate dimensions of the pocket watch are 48.7mm at the widest point x 53.1mm from top to bottom. Approximate diameter of the head is 29.5mm.
The leather has some wear. Dial and hands have some spotting which can be expected due to age. It runs and stops. This pocketwatch will REQUIRE SERVICE. The overall condition is good. Water resistance/proofness not tested. An overhaul is always recommended for used watches.
