Condition:  The watch has superficial scratches due to normal wear and age.  The hour hand has a pin point sized absence of lume.  The crystal has a blemish around the date window.  The overall condition of the watch is good.  Running at the time of inspection, however not checked for accuracy nor water resistance/proofness.  An overhaul is always recommended for used watches.
Special Notes:  Very rare Omega Speedmaster date chronograph with an oxblood red dial.  Th oxblood red dial was made for the Japan market.

In 1848, Louis Brandt founded La Generale Watch Co. in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.  In 1903, he changed the name to Louis Brandt et Frere – Omega Watch & Co which was changed once more to the current Omega SA in 1982.  Throughout it’s rich history, Omega was chosen as the official watch for Britain’s Royal Flying Corps in 1917, the US Army in 1918, and most famously for NASA in 1969.  Some of Omega’s most well known models are – Omega Speedmaster Professional, Omega Speedmaster, Omega Seamaster, Omega Constellation, Omega De Ville, Omega Dynamic, Omega Flightmaster, and Omega Railmaster.  Not as widely known, Omega even created a Tourbillon in 1947.
