Vintage Omega Horologium sundial desk display.  Brown patina metal.  Ornate engravings with Roman and Arabic numerals with floral motif.  Approximate dimensions are 85mm width x 95mm length x 35mm height from bottom of the base to the highest point.

Has areas of discoloration.  The bottom of the base has areas missing small pieces of felt.  The sundial has superficial scratches due to normal usage and age.  The overall condition is fair.

In 1848, Louis Brandt founded La Generale Watch Co. in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.  In 1903, he changed the name to Louis Brandt et Frere – Omega Watch & Co which was changed once more to the current Omega SA in 1982.  Throughout it’s rich history, Omega was chosen as the official watch for Britain’s Royal Flying Corps in 1917, the US Army in 1918, and most famously for NASA in 1969.  Some of Omega’s most well known models are – Omega Speedmaster Professional, Omega Speedmaster, Omega Seamaster, Omega Constellation, Omega De Ville, Omega Dynamic, Omega Flightmaster, and Omega Railmaster.  Not as widely known, Omega even created a Tourbillon in 1947.
