Black Omega dial with 1957 in red, 3 registers, applied stick hour markers, and broad arrow hands. Round button chronograph, engraved steel bezel with tachometer graduation. Sapphire crystal. Swiss made, self winding automatic movement, Omega Calibre #3313. See through skeleton case back. The case back is engraved Omega Broad Arrow Co-Axial 100m/330ft. Comes on a stainless steel Omega bracelet #STZ006346 with an Omega push button deployant buckle. Accompanied by an Omega watch box, Omega International Warranty card, and an Omega Pictograms card. The watch has superficial scratches due to normal wear and age. Overall condition is very good. Running at the time of inspection, however not checked for accuracy nor water resistance/proofness. An overhaul is always recommended for used watches.
In 1848, Louis Brandt founded La Generale Watch Co. in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. In 1903, he changed the name to Louis Brandt et Frere – Omega Watch & Co which was changed once more to the current Omega SA in 1982. Throughout it’s rich history, Omega was chosen as the official watch for Britain’s Royal Flying Corps in 1917, the US Army in 1918, and most famously for NASA in 1969. Some of Omega’s most well known models are – Omega Speedmaster Professional, Omega Speedmaster, Omega Seamaster, Omega Constellation, Omega De Ville, Omega Dynamic, Omega Flightmaster, and Omega Railmaster. Not as widely known, Omega even created a Tourbillon in 1947.
