Men’s 18k white gold Gerald Genta Octo Bi-retro wristwatch, ref #OBR.Y.60.  Ivory color Gerald Genta dial with jumping hours, retrograde minutes, and retrograde date.  Black cabochon crown.  Swiss made, automatic self winding GG 7722 caliber movement.  See through skeleton case back.  Comes on a black Gerald Genta alligator strap with a Gerald Genta deployant buckle.  Approximate diameter is 43mm.

Has superficial scratches due to normal wear and age.  The overall condition is good.  Running at the time of inspection, however not checked for accuracy.  An overhaul is always recommended for used watches.

Gerald Charles Genta was one of the most influential watch designers in modern horology.  Some of his most iconic watch designs are the Omega Constellation in 1959, the Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse in 1968, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak in 1970, the IWC Ingenieur and the Patek Philippe Nautilus in 1976, Gerald Genta Disney character watches and Bvlgari – Bvlgari in the 1980’s, and the Cartier Pasha de Cartier in 1997.  In 1998, Bvlgari bought out Gerald Genta which eventually becomes a part of Louis Vuitton-Moet-Hennessy.  After this, Genta formed Gerald Charles in 1999.
